39 colours and one pattern

We keep 39 linens on the shelf. Any style we make can be cut in any of them, which is a sentence that only makes sense because nothing is made in advance.

Why a stock shop cannot do this

A shop that holds stock has to choose. Thirty-nine colours times nine sizes times every style is a number nobody can hold in a warehouse, so the range gets cut down to the safe shades. That is why so much is sold in black, navy and white. It is not what people want. It is what survives the forecast.

Because we cut after the order, the colour is a question we ask you rather than a bet we place months earlier.

How to choose one

The swatches are dyed linen photographed under studio light. Screens vary, so treat them as close rather than exact. If a colour has to be right, write to us and say what you are matching. We will tell you honestly which of the 39 is nearest, including when the answer is none of them.

Deep shades read deeper in linen than in cotton because the weave is irregular and catches light unevenly. Pale shades do the opposite and go softer.

Ordering a colour we do not list

Tap Request a custom colour on the product page and name the one you want, or send us a message on WhatsApp. There is no surcharge and it does not add to the making time, because the cloth is already here and the pattern is cut the same way whatever colour it goes onto.

They change

Colour settles with washing. A strong shade gives up a little in the first few washes and then holds. Line drying in the shade rather than in sun is most of what keeps it where it landed.
