Terms of service

Ellementree is a small linen workshop in Jaipur, India. These terms cover anything you buy from ellementree.com. Placing an order means you accept them.

Ordering

Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we send you a confirmation email. If we cannot make a piece, because a cloth has run out or a measurement falls outside what we can cut, we will tell you and refund you in full.

Prices

Prices are in US dollars and include shipping. They do not include duty or tax charged at your border, except for orders to the United States, which are sent Delivered Duty Paid. We can change a price at any time, but never after you have ordered.

Made to order

Nothing sits in stock. Every piece is cut after you buy it, which is why measurements matter and why dispatch takes a few days. Linen is a natural cloth. Colour shifts a little between batches and every piece creases. Neither is a fault.

Custom work

Send your bust, waist, hips and height in the order note and we cut the pattern to them at no extra charge. Ask for a different length, sleeve or neckline and we will make it that way. A piece cut to your own measurements, or changed at your request, cannot be returned unless it arrives faulty.

Returns

Our refund policy sits alongside these terms and forms part of them.

What we are responsible for

We stand behind our making. If a piece arrives faulty, or fails in ordinary wear, we repair it, replace it or refund it. Beyond that, our responsibility for any order is limited to what you paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect loss. None of this affects rights you hold under the law where you live.

The photographs and writing on this site are ours. Please ask before using them elsewhere.

Governing law

Indian law governs these terms, and the courts of Jaipur have jurisdiction.
