Care

Linen gets softer the more you wash it.

Washing

Machine wash cold with a mild detergent. Skip fabric softener. Wash indigo, black and burnt orange on their own for the first few washes.

Drying

Line dry in the shade, since strong sun fades deep colours. A low tumble dry is fine if you take it out while it's slightly damp.

Ironing

Iron on the linen setting while it's damp, or leave the creases. For a crisp finish, iron on the reverse.

Shrinking

We wash the linen before we cut it. Expect a little shrinking in the first wash, then almost none.

Stains

Treat stains quickly in cold water. Hot water sets them.

Storing

Fold it in a drawer. Wash it before you put it away for a season.
